Our u18s Captained by First Team Goal Keeper Reece Mitchell participated in the AFC Burton tournament. The lads put in some fantastic performances before bowing out in the semi-final. Lots more to come from these lads.

hlpix "Site preparation Day - Saturday 29th June" - As we approach the start of the new season, we’re seeking volunteers and local tradespeople to help refresh our club facilities. Tasks for the day will include: - Painting, Repairing the roof on our Paybox, Welding, General cleaning and tidying. We'll have a BBQ with bacon butties, along with coffee and tea. Just come along and join us at Potterne Park from 8am to 5pm on Saturday, 29th June, and lend a hand. If you have any materials, specialist skills, tools or items you can bring along that would be useful then let us know, contact Martin Gilham chairman@vtfc.co.uk

hlpix "Respect Award for Verwood" - Verwood Town First team win the April MJMSPORTS 'Respect' in Division One.. Furthermore, and announced at the Velocity Wessex League AGM, the club were second placed overall in the Division One Respect Awards for the season. Well done to all involved.

hlpix "U23 Division for 2024/25" - The constitution for the Hampshire Combination & Development Football League Under 23 leagues has been confirmed, our Verwood Town U23 team will be playing in the Division One (West) along with Bemerton Heath Harlequins, Blackfield & Langley, Hedge End Rangers, Hythe & Dibden, Laverstock & Ford, Lymington Town, Romsey Town

hlpix "Director Of Football" - Carl Rolfe will be our new Director of Football for the 24/25 season. Carl commented “I am thrilled to have been offered the role of Director of Football and can’t wait to get started. My goal is develop and maintain high standards throughout and get the club operating as one. To integrate the first team’s operations with the rest of the club. One of our greatest strengths is our vibrant youth system and I aim to ensure continuity between the first team, the under-23s, and the under-18s. My focus will be on working with Joe, Alex and Jamie in cultivating a strong club identity, culture, and pathway”. Martin Gilham Chairman of Verwood Town FC commented "I am very pleased to announce the appointment of Carl Rolfe as Director of Football. There is a significant amount of young talent at the club progressing through the age groups and Carl's role is key to providing a pathway through under 18/23 to first team football. Carl, who has been a vital part of our team as the 1st Team Coach, brings a wealth of experience and passion to his new role"

hlpix "Commercial Manager" - Stuart Bourne, expanding on his current role developing the Club's Social media content has now been appointed as Commercial Manager. In this role, Stuart seek to maintain and strenghen relationhips with existing partners and develop new avenues for sponsorship and income. To support Stuart in his Digiatal and Social Media activities he will be joined by Samuel Shorey who comes with a background of Social media and Football Marketing analysis.

hlpix "Appointment U23 Manager" - Verwood Town FC are excited to announce that Alex Benham has been selected as our new U23's Manager. Martin Gilman Chairman of Verwood Town FC added “Alex has been an integral part of VTFC for several years, fulfilling roles in management, coaching, and playing. Currently coaching in the youth section and the U18 team, he has also played for the Verwood Town first team. The creation of the U23 team aligns with the club's growth strategy to connect youth and senior football. Carl Rolfe from our 1st Team management staff will support Alex, offering young talented players a clear pathway to first-team football and ensuring a seamless transition between the first team and the U23 squad.”
We wish Alex every success in his new role at VTFC.

These sessions are open to experienced football players who wish to be part of our passionate and amazing club. All sessions will be held at Potterne Park, Potterne Way, Verwood, BH21 6RS. hlpix "Sun Shines on Youth Presentation Day" - A busy day at Potterne for VTFC this Sunday (for select image for poster). First and foremost on Sunday May 12th was the Youth teams Presentation Day with awards for our many teams from ages Under 5's and up. The team presentations topped off with the return of our U11 Galaxy team fresh from clinching a Dorset County Cup final victory earlier in the day! This was followed by a Youth team managers match on the 3G whist on the same afternoon our Under 18 side were playing their last match in an end of season cup against Bournemouth Sports.
