On Thursday, it was with great sadness we paid tribute to Judith Fry as she was laid to rest at New Forest Crematorium.
Judith was the wife of Mike Fry, previously club chairman and now lifetime vice president. Judith was a long standing member of the Verwood football club committee, completing over 20 years' service with the club, finally retiring as Club Secretary back in 2009. On behalf of everyone at Verwood Town FC, we want to express our heartfelt thanks for Judith's years of dedication, hard work, and passion for the club. Our thoughts are with Mike and their family and loved ones during this difficult time. We are forever grateful for the time, energy, and love Judith shared with our football community. Rest in peace, Judith. You will always be part of the Verwood Town FC family.

High balls and scrappy goals typify the type of game played and although relatively even in respect to possession, it is of course goals that count!. Two late ones flatter the scoreline a little for the home side in a 5-1 defeat for Verwood at Bournemouth Sports.
