Advance Notice of Special Festive Friendly on Tuesday December 29th at 6:30pmReserve Team Manager Neville Munson writes - " Once again Adie, after his maximum capacity intake of two halves of John Smiths had the bravado to challenge Big Nev's Reserves team to a football match under floodlights on Tuesday 29th December with a planned kick off at 1830 hours (half past 6). The plan is to host this extravaganza of soccer skills with no admission charge to watch, although we propose to take a collection for Club funds. Each "playing" participant will be required to cough up a fiver which covers the costs of staging the match and entitles them to a bowl of hot food back at the Social Club (approx 2030 hours). In addition it will give Steve Tubbs the opportunity to kick anyone he may have missed during the ninety minutes of play and we will also circulate a couple of football cards as a further fund raiser. Todd has established training sessions on Sunday Morning (9:30-10:30) at the Verwood Leisure Centre and is working hard to obtain the correct equipment and support required.
