Report
Hospitals played a big part in this week's fixture as well with Ben Giles being there on Friday with an eye injury, and Marc Harrison having to take his girlfriend there on Saturday morning. Both missed the fixture and therefore we were again down to the bare bones of a squad.

Things weren't helped further by Brian having to come off after 20 minutes and being replaced up front by young Josh our reserve goalie!

On a damp pitch where many players were struggling to keep the feet we found ourselves two down within 25 minutes despite the fact we had also carved out two gilt edged chances. The game was end to end with neither defence taking control. Deservedly, we pulled one back just before half time when a free kick on the right of the penalty area taken by Kris Rex took a deflection and squirmed under their keeper. 2~1 down at half time we were back in the game. Our direct running at their defence mainly by Kris Rex and Mika Dronyk were causing them huge problems and every time resulted in them resorting to fouling the player and this gave us hope and belief for the 2nd half.

Unfortunately we conceded a gaol right at the start of the 2nd half, however from that point onwards took the game to them. Pete Eyre had a couple more top notch chances but it wasn't until the last 8 minutes that we clawed our way back in the game. Pete was fouled in the area and Kris scored his second from the penalty spot. We then peppered their goal looking for the equaliser and we got our just rewards in the final minute where Pete scrambled in a far post header from a corner.

A superb battling performance that the team can be proud of.
