High flyers Frimley Green added to their hopes of promotion by taking all 3 points in a landslide finish.

The first 20 minutes was competitive and had we had finishing power would have been ahead in the opening spell. Grzybowski had a shot kicked off the line just after the whistle and then Hockey saw his effort skip inches past the post with the keeper beaten.

We contained Frimley’s counters and anything that crept through Dinnivan was there with safe handling.

Further opportunities to score fell to Weardon and Hockey but our malaise continued of going close but not close enough.

Then the inevitable. Pushing up left space and 23 minutes into the half Frimley went ahead with a clear run on goal 0-1.

10 minutes later a similar scenario. 0-2.

We rallied briefly but couldn’t put the ball in the onion bag.

Half Time. 0–2.

Frimley picked up pace from the kick off giving Dinnivan practice and at the other end we had a flurry of attempts but couldn’t crack Frimley’s defensive cover.

14 minutes into the second phase and a hard but fair challenge in the box was judged a penalty. 0-3.

Unlike other games we had a noticeable drop in enthusiasm. Frimley enjoyed time and space claiming a fourth after 26 minutes. 0-4.

We watched an uneventful period until with 5 minutes left of normal time saw a pass back intercepted and suffered another goal against. 0-5.

46 minutes a corner went unchallenged and came off the park with 0-6 result.

Substitutions made…. Grzybowski off for Lordache. 45 minutes.
Ivaylo off for Ciriun 60 minutes. Brazier on for Hughes and Whitelaw on for Hockey 73 minutes.

Result. 0-6.
