Two well-organised and disciplined teams made for a tightly contested match, with few clear-cut chances as both sides neutralised each other for large portions of the game.

Our strategy was to maintain high intensity, believing our opponents would tire before us, and that proved true.

Charlie Middlemiss took advantage after some excellent combination play, and when he's in those situations, we always back him to deliver.

He took his chance superbly to give us the lead.

In the dying moments, a fantastic save from Rob Beck secured the win, ensuring we came away with a hard-fought and well-deserved three points.
