We were fractionally the better side in the opening stages but got stung pushing too far up and leaving sufficient room for Romsey to go ahead after 20 minutes. 0-1.

We drew level 5 minutes later resulting from a good move from defence forcing a corner. Bignell won the heading duel and made it 1-1.

We continued having the better of exchanges but fell behind again giving away a penalty with 3 minutes left of the half. 1-2.

We had a last minute rally but went in at half time the wrong end of the score line.

Half Time 1-2 For the early part of the second half it looked as if Romsey would hold out but Hockey dealt with the deficit in his inimitable style smashing home our second of the game with a low volley into the bottom corner 2-2.

10 minutes to go and pressure paid off. Grzybowski grabbed his third of the season giving us entry into the next round.

In the dying minutes Romsey went close but solid defending and excellent handling by Mitchell secured the win.
