Flashes of good energetic play were overridden by longer spells of laxity giving the home team space and time on the ball.

15 minutes gone and Blandford forced a corner. The inswinger wasn’t covered…0-1

We looked a bit shell shocked and retaliated with some good attacking play but regrettably without finish.

The half was dour. The half time whistle, the only excitement.

Substitutions gave hope for a lift in performance but the malady had set in and although we had flourishes of good attacking play we couldn’t produce a goal.

Blandford plugged on and took a late opportunity to make the score line over emphasise their superiority on the day.
