Our Jekyll and Hyde malaise continued away at Cove. A poor performance all round let Cove dictate a high possession in the game and who were rewarded with three valuable points.

Counter attacks were non producing and when opportunities cropped up we lacked a cutting edge.

Cove went ahead with a goal on 20 minutes and although disputed because of a ‘foul’ claim stood firm in the referee's view. 0-1.

The half meandered with no further goals.

We picked up a bit in the second half but finishing still proved a difficulty task. McWilliams and Shepherd went close a couple of times but the keeper overall had an easy untroubled day.

A lack lustre defence buckled for a Cove second goal half way through the half and just before the whistle finished their scoring spree with a simple goal to make it 0-3.

Although we struggled to get the full squad together for this fixture, the team on the day should have been good enough to claim points.
