VERWOOD TOWN LADIES 2 AFC STONEHAM 3

A very close game, which saw the visitors take an early lead and were very much in control in the early stages. At 3-0 down after 30 minutes, Verwood lifted their game and pulled a goal back through a terrific strike from Rhiannan.

The second half saw Verwood take control of the game and dominated possession. Everything went right for Verwood apart from the finishing and for all their chances only managed a late goal through a free kick, which was placed perfectly in the top left corner.

Well done girls for a very entertaining match and from what we saw, we will have a very good season ahead of us.
